Here are 21 random questions that have crossed my mind so far this year. Feel free to add your own.

  1. Kindergarten children know that you should tell the truth, share with others, and play nicely. Can we elect them to Congress?
  2. Santa Claus can guarantee accurate, overnight delivery of every one of his packages all across the globe. So why hasn’t USPS hired him?
  3. If they can create a vaccine for COVID-19 in less than a year, why can’t they develop a pill to cure arrogance and bigotry?
  4. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Life is really hard right now, can we make limoncello?
  5. If the seas continue to warm and the polar icecaps shrink, where will the polar bears go?
  6. If they only set sail for a three hour tour, how did the castaways on Gilligan’s Island have so many clothes?
  7. Is today’s electronic dance music the offspring of 80’s New Wave?
  8. How is it that no two snowflakes are exactly the same?
  9. What would the young people who created breakdancing on the streets of the Bronx in the 1970s say if you told them that breaking (competitive breakdancing) would become an Olympic sport in 2024?
